 Welcome Ms. Winnie Tiong Ong Sing to Riam Hill International Secondary School! 

We are excited to introduce Ms. Winnie Tiong Ong Sing as our new Mandarin Chinese teacher! 
Ms. Winnie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our school. She graduated from New Era University College with a Foundation in Chinese Communication and holds a BA (Hons) in Chinese Studies from Southern University College. In addition, she has a Grade 5 Music Theory certificate and an HSK Level 6 certification, showcasing her outstanding proficiency in Mandarin.
Beyond her impressive qualifications, Ms. Winnie also has a passion for taekwondo and archery, making her a well-rounded and inspiring role model for our students.

1. Teacher (English)

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and significant experience, or a Master’s Degree in Education or relevant discipline.
  • A recognized qualification in TESOL, TEFOL, ESL, EAL or similar.
  • At least 5 years and above IGCSE teaching experience in English and English Literature.
  • The English Teacher must be qualified and experience in teaching English and English Literature and supporting the individual need of students in secondary schools.
  • Work collaboratively with subjects teachers, coordinators and Principal.

2. Teacher (Biology)

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in an international school setting.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with the IGCSE Biology syllabus for Years 10 and 11.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A passion for helping students reach their full potential in a supportive learning environment.
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of student abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess, monitor, and support student progress through regular feedback and reporting.
  • Develop effective revision strategies and resources to enhance students’ understanding of key biological concepts.
